|---|---|
| Auditor | View only access. Users can view all screens within the application and download activity reports and statements. |
| Initiator | Can initiate none DeFi transactions and specific policy requests. |
| Approver | Policy controls enforce that a specific threshold of approvers must review any requests. Requests can be policy changes or non-DeFi transactions. Approvers must approve or reject these requests. |
| Issuer | Once a transaction is approved. Only an issuer can “submit” or “issue” the transaction for final signature and then to be sent to the blockchain. In self custody wallets, issuers send transaction to mobile signers for their signature. |
| DeFi Operator | Can independently interact with DeFi dapps and contracts. Only they can create and issue DeFi transactions, which are particularly sensitive. Specific policy controls are set on each individual DeFi operator for speed and independence. But each DeFi operator must remain within those specific policy settings. |
| Developer | Can easily access the specific keys required for API access |
| Mobile Signer | In Self-Custody wallets, mobile signers provide the final signature on transactions through their mobile device. This is the final check before txns are sent to the blockchain. They are responsible for managing and securing the sensitive mobile signing device. |
| Admin | Full administrative access to the vault for viewing and deriving addresses, with other special privilages |
