Frequently asked questions about the blockchain networks and assets supported by Fortary.

Which networks does Fortary support?

Fortary currently supports the following networks:
NetworkAssetsKey Operations
BitcoinBTCSend, Receive
EthereumETH, ERC-20 tokensSend, Receive, DeFi, Staking (coming soon)
Avalanche C-ChainAVAX, ERC-20 tokensSend, Receive, DeFi
Avalanche P-ChainAVAXStaking, Cross-chain transfers
Avalanche X-ChainAVAXCross-chain transfers
Other EVM-Compatible NetworksNative tokens, ERC-20 tokensSend, Receive

Can I use Fortary with any EVM-compatible chain?

Yes. Fortary’s architecture supports EVM-compatible networks broadly. If a network follows the Ethereum Virtual Machine standard, Fortary can support it. Common examples include Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base, among others. If the EVM network you need is not yet configured in your Fortary instance, contact your account team to request it. Adding EVM-compatible networks is typically fast and does not require changes to your existing vaults or keys.

What operations are available on each network?

Not all operations are available on every network. Here’s a quick reference:

Can Fortary add new networks?

Yes. Fortary’s architecture is designed to onboard new blockchain networks without impacting your existing setup. When a new network is added:
  • Your existing vaults can automatically derive addresses on the new chain
  • No key migration or new key generation is required
  • Your security policies and approval workflows apply to the new network immediately
Contact your Fortary account team to discuss network requirements.

What about non-EVM chains beyond Bitcoin?

Fortary’s roadmap includes expanding support for additional non-EVM networks as institutional demand grows. The platform’s MPC architecture is chain-agnostic at the cryptographic layer, which enables support for new signature schemes and blockchain protocols.
If your organization requires support for a specific network not currently listed, reach out to your Fortary account team. We evaluate network additions based on institutional demand and security review.
