Approver Hardward Devices
Approvers are responsible for independently reviewing and approving sensitive actions on the Fortary platform, such as transactions and policy changes. Unlike signing, which executes a transaction through Fortary’s MPC system, approval is a separate control layer that requires a dedicated hardware device to review and attest to requests before they proceed.- Today, Approvers use a dedicated Ledger hardware device as their external approval tool, providing an added layer of security through passcode protection and on-device data review.
- In the near future, Fortary will introduce an in-house mobile approval app designed to prioritize both security and ease of use.
